The product

The whole plaintiff case, in one place — and it learns.

LitAxis runs the work from the first ad click to the client’s check, and turns each outcome into a better next decision. Everything below ships today; anything still being built is marked.

01 · AI at every step

Seven steps. One platform. AI in each.

Marketing → intake → call center → case → documents → demand → payout. Each step hands the next one a complete record, so nothing is re-keyed and nothing is lost.

01

Marketing

Know which dollars sign cases.

  • A lead form for your website that captures UTM tags and ad-click IDs with every lead.
  • A funnel by source, channel and campaign — leads to signed to settled — with ROI and cost per signed case by channel and source, from the ad spend you enter.
  • AI insights that read your marketing numbers — ROI and cost per signed case by channel — and point out what stands out, naming the metrics behind each one.
  • Signed and settled outcomes sent back to Google Ads and Meta as offline conversions, once you connect your ad accounts.Beta

02

Intake

Every lead triaged the moment it lands.

  • AI triage, plus a suggested case type that staff accept or dismiss.
  • Callers the AI voice agent takes in are screened for catastrophic injuries and escalated immediately.
  • A conflict check on every lead in intake, against your clients, parties and adjusters.
  • New leads routed to a closer by leaderboard performance and current workload.
  • Retainers out for e-signature before the matter is even opened.

03

Call center

Your phones, wired into the case.

  • An Amazon Connect softphone inside LitAxis, with caller screen-pop and click-to-call.
  • Describe how calls should be handled in plain English; AI drafts the call flow for you to edit, simulate and compile to Amazon Connect.
  • An AI voice intake agent that writes each answer into the lead as the caller gives it.
  • A live call board and call-performance analytics.

04

Case

Nothing slips.

  • Statute-of-limitations and court-deadline rules you control; computed court deadlines roll off weekends and court holidays.
  • Treatment tracking that flags a gap in care before it costs case value.
  • An AI case summary and suggested next steps on every matter. LitAxis suggests; your team decides.
  • AI Jobs: rules that draft letters and create records-request and follow-up tasks when a case changes — off until you turn them on. Drafted letters wait for a person to review and send.
  • A client portal where clients check status, upload documents and ask about their case — answered only from client-safe information.

05

Documents

Records in. Facts out — with sources.

  • Medical records become a chronology in which every AI-extracted entry quotes its source. Click an entry to open the record at the cited page, with the quote highlighted.
  • Bills found in the records are checked against the matter's medical-expense ledger, and missing ones are flagged to add in one click.
  • Document recipes combine facts from the matter with AI-drafted sections, and flag what needs attorney review.
  • Retainer templates with conditional clauses — one template across case types and signer combinations.
  • Built-in e-signature: several signers in order or in parallel, a tamper-evident signing record, and the executed copy filed to the matter.

06

Demand

Demands built from the file.

  • Demand drafts use the medical chronology and matter financials; a proposed amount uses recorded specials and the firm's signed settlements when available, with an attorney review step.
  • Adjuster records and a demand-send history on every matter.
  • A negotiation plan with its reasoning shown: a target from your own comparable settlements, an opening from the carrier's first-offer history, and a floor from the medical specials.
  • When an offer comes in, AI recommends a counter from the file's own numbers — kept between the carrier's offer and your last demand, computed rather than guessed.

07

Payout

Settlement math you can hand to an auditor.

  • A settlement waterfall — gross, fees, costs, liens, client net — calculated to the cent.
  • A settlement can't be finalized without court approval for a minor, UIM consent when it's required, and a trust account — or below the client's recorded settlement authority.
  • Per-client trust sub-ledgers that can't overdraw or mix client funds.
  • Fee schedules by case type, including referral splits.
  • Fee petitions: time tracking and a lodestar report, with AI that rebuilds missing time from the matter's own activity — and labels it as reconstructed.

02 · Self-improving firm knowledge

Your firm's history, working on today's cases.

Every signed lead, every follow-up, every settlement is evidence. LitAxis keeps it, learns from it, and brings it to the decision in front of you — with the reasons attached.

Which leads sign?

  • Sign rates by source, channel and campaign, from your own intake history.
  • Closer routing driven by your own leaderboard: new leads go to the closers who are performing, balanced against their workload.
  • A lead score that shows its reasons — no black box.

Which follow-ups work?

  • The Chase Optimizer runs versions of a follow-up cadence side by side and records what actually happened — signed, replied, came in for treatment, sent documents, opted out.
  • Once every version has enough leads, it shifts new ones toward the version that best reaches the cadence's goal — a signed retainer, for intake follow-up — while still testing the rest. You switch it on per cadence.

What do cases resolve for?

  • Case value anchored to your own settled cases of the same type — and similar severity and medical specials, where recorded — shown as a range with how many cases it rests on. No comparables, no number.
  • Carrier intelligence: how each insurer has actually treated your firm's claims, from your own offers and settlements.
  • Firm trends — provider billing, surgery patterns, policy-limit exposure, IME doctors — computed from your own records.

What should happen next?

  • Case Autopilot reviews your active matters on a schedule for statute risk, deadlines, treatment gaps, stalled negotiations and demands that are ready — and learns which recommendations your team acts on. Deadline warnings are never down-ranked.
  • Your firm's SOPs become knowledge the assistant searches — respecting who may see which SOP — and cites in its answers.
  • Ask your firm questions in plain English. AI insights that don't point to real metrics from your own data are dropped.

03 · Your data, your tools

The system of record that doesn't hold you hostage.

LitAxis is where the firm's work lives — and it is built to be connected, extended and exported, on your terms.

  • One system of record: intake, calls, matters, documents, treatment and money in one database — not stitched across five products.
  • A versioned REST API with an OpenAPI spec and scoped keys — down to individual fields on matters, clients, tasks and intakes.
  • LitAxis is an MCP server: connect Claude or any MCP client to your firm through the same keys, permissions and ethical walls.
  • Signed webhooks with retries and a delivery log — point them at Zapier or your own systems.
  • Inbound webhooks that bring your other systems' data into LitAxis dashboards.
  • Canvas: build your own screens inside LitAxis with a sandboxed SDK.
  • Slack and Microsoft Teams: case events posted to channels, and a channel per case.Beta
  • Admins can export the firm's matters, clients, contacts, communications and document records whenever they like.
